Job Description
The Project Accountant will be responsible for managing project finances, ensuring budget compliance, and providing accurate financial reporting. The role involves close collaboration with project teams to ensure financial efficiency and adherence to internal policies and donor or statutory requirements.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting
- Monitor project expenditures and ensure compliance with budgets.
- Prepare timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, donor requirements, and statutory regulations.
- Support audits and provide required documentation.
- Track and reconcile project accounts and transactions
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure financial efficiency.
