The Production Supervisor assists the Deputy Asset Manager in running an assigned production area across production, quality, cost, delivery, technical, safety and people matters. The role manages production staff day to day, ensures targets and customer requirements are met, and drives continuous improvement using lean tools.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Monitor production KPIs and ensure plan versus actual targets are achieved.
Ensure a safe and efficient workplace is maintained at all times.
Coordinate with support functions on production planning and resource and skill allocation.
Deliver shift briefs focused on quality, cost and delivery, and gather ideas for improvement.
Drive team performance through direction, feedback and coaching.
Ensure standard operating procedures and safe working practices are followed.
Apply lean manufacturing techniques to improve productivity, efficiency and quality.
Support implementation of engineering and maintenance improvements.
Control quality standards and support budget and costing execution.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Qualifications & Experience:

At least 2 years as a production supervisor or similar role.
Experience working in warehouses, factories and industrial environments.
Experience with processing machinery.
Willingness to work day and night shift rotation.
Knowledge of safety, health and environmental good practices.
