Procurement Officer

The Procurement Officer is responsible for sourcing high-quality materials and services required across the plumbing, manufacturing and vocational training divisions, negotiating with suppliers and managing purchase orders end to end.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Identify and negotiate with suppliers for raw materials (plastics, steel) and plumbing inventory to secure competitive pricing and favourable credit terms
Process purchase orders, track shipments and manage the complete procurement workflow within ERPNext
Coordinate with manufacturing and plumbing teams to anticipate material requirements and prevent supply chain bottlenecks
Maintain rigorous quality control standards when evaluating vendor samples and incoming deliveries
Track supplier performance using established KPIs and KRAs

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement or a related field
2 to 4 years of procurement experience, ideally within manufacturing or construction and plumbing sectors
Proficiency in using ERPNext for procurement and inventory management
Strong negotiation skills and ability to build lasting vendor relationships
