Procurement and Field Logistics ManagerNew!

• Develop and maintain the annual procurement plan aligned to work plans, budgets and field operations.
• Lead procurement from requisition and solicitation through bid evaluation, vendor selection, contracting and close-out.
• Promote fair, competitive, transparent and value-for-money procurement with proper segregation of duties.
• Establish and maintain a pool of prequalified vendors and accurate vendor records.
• Monitor vendor and contract performance for quality, timely delivery and value for money.
• Coordinate with finance and programme teams to forecast procurement needs and resolve delays.
• Maintain complete, accurate and audit-ready procurement files and support audit resolutions.
• Coordinate field logistics, travel, transport, events, asset and inventory management.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in procurement and supply chain management, logistics, business administration, finance or a related field; a relevant master's degree is an advantage.
• At least seven years' relevant experience in procurement, logistics, operations or supply-chain management, preferably in an NGO or donor-funded programme.
• Demonstrated experience managing competitive procurement processes, vendor relationships and contracts.
• Working knowledge of donor-funded procurement requirements and internal controls; US Government-funded award experience is an advantage.
