• Provide overall leadership and management of the school of nursing and midwifery.
• Oversee delivery of nursing and midwifery training programmes and academic standards.
• Manage teaching staff, performance and staff development.
• Ensure the school meets Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council and Ministry of Education requirements.
• Prepare and manage the school's plans, budgets and reports.
• Work with Kisiizi Hospital management on clinical training placements.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master's degree in Nursing, Midwifery or Education Management related course.
• Bachelor's degree in Medical Education with a Diploma in Nursing or Midwifery, or a Bachelor's of Nursing or Midwifery with a post graduate diploma in Medical Education.
• Must be registered and licensed with the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council.
• Certificate of registration from the Ministry of Education is required.
• Minimum of five years work experience in a health related institution, two of which at a senior level position.
