The O.R. Tambo Africa Research Chair Initiative at IDI Makerere invites applications for a Post-MMed Research Fellowship at the Department of Internal Medicine, Makerere University College of Health Sciences.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Conduct post-doctoral level research in infectious and neurological diseases
Deliver a mentored research project within the programme
Participate in multidisciplinary training, mentorship and capacity building
Publish findings and contribute to grant and research development

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Completed MMed programme
Commitment to fellowship training over 1 to 2 years
Strong interest and experience in infectious disease research
Ability to work within a multidisciplinary research team
