Payables Accounts Assistant (M/F) job at CFAO Mobility

Job Description
This role involves managing supplier accounts, reconciling foreign payables, preparing payments, and maintaining accurate expense records. The assistant will be responsible for expense provisioning, supporting the Parts department with financial reviews, participating in stock takes, and maintaining the vendor master file. Accuracy, integrity, and adherence to IFRS and internal policies are critical in this position.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Manage payables accounts and communicate regularly with suppliers
Reconcile payables accounts, especially foreign ones, and resolve discrepancies
Prepare and report on payables and provision accounts accurately and timely
Process payments to suppliers, service providers, and business partners
Record supplier invoices and liabilities in line with IFRS and company policies
Prepare Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) with correct details
Make monthly provisions for committed services and goods
Support the Parts department in reviewing and managing expenses
Attend and witness perpetual stock takes in the Parts department
Maintain accurate information in the Vendor Master file

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Business Computing with a focus on accounting
Pursuing CPA or ACCA is an added advantage
Experience and Skills:
Minimum of 3 years in a similar role in a busy accounting environment
Strong understanding of general accounting procedures
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Strong problem-solving and customer service abilities
