Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Examine patients' eyes to assess vision and detect eye abnormalities.
- Prescribe and dispense corrective lenses and other optical aids.
- Diagnose common eye conditions and refer complex cases for specialist care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
- Advise patients on eye care and preventive eye health practices.
- Support clinic quality standards and patient service targets.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma in Optometry.
- Licensed Optometrist with the Optometrists' Association of Kenya.
- Minimum of one (1) year relevant experience.
Skills & Competencies:
- Proficient in computer applications.
- Good communication skills.
