Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, configure, implement and maintain local area, wide area and wireless networks.
- Install, configure, administer and maintain network devices.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity problems.
- Implement network security controls and protect hospital data.
- Maintain documentation of network architecture and configurations.
- Support digital health systems, teaching and research connectivity needs.
- Ensure reliable and uninterrupted network availability.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networks or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in network administration.
- Professional networking certification such as CCNA is an advantage.
- Fluency in Kinyarwanda, English and/or French; knowledge of all is an added advantage.
Skills & Competencies:
- Network infrastructure configuration.
- Troubleshooting and diagnostics.
- Network security.
- Documentation discipline.
