• Operate and monitor the integrated PLC/SCADA milling control system.
• Adjust mill flow rates, settings and grain tempering to hit extraction rates and flour specifications.
• Perform changeovers and production runs for different flour grades and custom blends.
• Carry out in-process quality checks on size distribution, moisture, colour, germ content, extraction rate, ash content and purity.
• Troubleshoot milling faults and perform daily inspection, preventive maintenance and cleaning.
• Follow Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures for equipment isolation and report all faults.
• Keep accurate production, quality and maintenance records.
• Adhere to food safety protocols, GMP and 5S housekeeping standards.
• Coordinate with the drier operator and control room for a consistent supply of conditioned grain.
• Communicate clearly with the team and support training of colleagues.

Qualifications & Experience:

• At least a Diploma in Food Science and Technology, Milling Technology or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience operating machinery in FMCG, a flour mill or a large agro-processing plant.
• Experience with computerized control systems is highly desirable.
• Certification in milling, basic food safety or HACCP, computer literacy, and first aid and fire safety.
• Strong attention to detail, basic mechanical aptitude and numerical literacy.
