Are you a skilled Mechanical Technician with a passion for maintaining and optimizing plant equipment? Qcil is looking for a talented professional to join our Engineering Team. This position plays a critical role in routine maintenance, project operations, and ensuring operational efficiency in the organization.
As a Mechanical Technician, you will:
Provide routine maintenance services for plant equipment and installations.
Assist in designing, testing, and maintaining plant machinery and utilities.
Contribute to strategic decision-making by supporting both routine and project operations.
Play a vital role in minimizing machine downtime and enhancing operational effectiveness.

How to Apply
Your duties will include:
Equipment Analysis and Maintenance:
Analyze machine test results and make necessary adjustments to meet operational specifications.
Assist Mechanical Engineers in creating preventive measures to minimize machine downtime.
Perform both planned preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance of production/utility machinery.
Operational Support:
Collaborate with the engineering team to design and maintain plant machinery.
Ensure proper calibration of all instruments for effective operation and maintain detailed records of calibration processes.
Operate and maintain systems such as Air Handling Units, Boilers, Chillers, and Compressors.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain up-to-date documentation, including SOPs, checklists, qualifications, validations, and preventive maintenance logs.
Compile reports on equipment performance, instrument readings, and switching operations.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and maintain proper records.
Inventory Management:
Maintain inventory levels for equipment spares and consumables like belts, bearings, lubricants, and hardware.
Coordinate with the purchasing department to procure materials in a timely manner.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure all machines and equipment are in proper working condition.
Maintain high-quality standards in engineering processes and maintain comprehensive records.
To be eligible for this role, you should possess the following:
Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: 2–3 years of experience in engineering processes and operations, or a related role.
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
