Job Description
The MDR-TB Coordinator will serve as the lead for planning and coordinating MDR-TB activities, providing technical guidance to ensure smooth implementation across all levels. This role focuses on strengthening surveillance, building health worker capacity, and developing strategic interventions for patient management and prevention under the Global Fund Program.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Serve as Coordinator planning for MDR-TB by providing technical guidance and ensure smooth implementation of MDR TB activities at all levels.
- Provide supportive supervision to Health workers to conduct MDR TB Surveillance.
- Ensure TB Health Workers and IPs capacity is built in relation the program.
- Mobilize and sensitize communities for MDR TB prevention and Patient management.
- Organize TWG meetings, review guidelines, and develop strategies for PMDT.
- Lead in Surveillance data and operation research.
