• Identify and assess new partnership opportunities that generate net new clients.
• Build, nurture and scale strategic relationships with financial institutions, fintechs, telecoms, regulators and agent networks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration and execution of partnerships.
• Act as primary contact for partners, resolving challenges and driving engagement and satisfaction.
• Develop and implement a partnership strategy aligned with business growth objectives.
• Analyse market trends and competitive landscapes to inform partnership strategies.
• Set and monitor partnership performance metrics and report outcomes to senior management.
• Manage the sales pipeline, attend partner negotiations and provide training to partner sales teams.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing or a related field; an MBA or equivalent is preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in business development, strategic partnerships or sales in fintech, payments, banking or telecom, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of building and managing high-impact partnerships with measurable business results.
• Deep understanding of the Ugandan and East African financial services ecosystem, including Bank of Uganda regulation.
• Experience in the payments or fintech industry is highly preferred.
