Maintenance Technician - Substation

• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on substation equipment including transformers, switchgear, AVRs, and auxiliary systems
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on transformers, switchgear, and other electrical equipment
• Manage inventory of replacement parts and tools, ensuring all necessary supplies are readily available
• Coordinate maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency
• Document and report on maintenance activities including repairs and inspections conducted
• Respond to emergency outages and equipment failures to restore power as quickly as possible
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards in all maintenance activities

Qualifications & Experience:

• Higher Diploma in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering
• Minimum 2 years' relevant experience in maintaining high-voltage power transformers and switchgear
• Specialized training in high-voltage equipment maintenance is an added advantage
