Litarm Consults is recruiting a Logistics and Procurement Officer for a hotel in Naguru, Kampala to set up and run purchasing, logistics and stores as it moves from pre-opening into daily operations.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Set up and run the hotel's purchasing, logistics and stores functions.
Source suppliers, negotiate prices and manage supplier relationships in Kampala.
Process purchase requisitions, orders and deliveries and verify goods received.
Maintain stock control records and conduct regular stores counts.
Keep procurement and stores documentation accurate and audit ready.
Support pre-opening procurement planning and work extra hours before opening.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Procurement and Logistics.
Minimum 3 years in procurement, logistics and stores, ideally in a hotel or construction setting.
Hotel pre-opening experience is an added advantage.
Strong negotiation skills and a network of Kampala suppliers.
Good stock control and record keeping skills with strong MS Excel.
High integrity, organised, dependable and hands-on.
