Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Carry out customer workouts including calling clients in early non-payment and applying the appropriate workout category
- Ensure proper documentation of open loan cases
- Ensure customers pay on time within the assigned loan portfolio
- Negotiate with non-paying clients and agree solutions such as rescheduling to restore repayments
- Recommend and work with external service providers on portfolio management by escalating repossession cases
- Educate customers on the impact of loan non-repayment
- Support analysis of causes of portfolio deterioration
- Provide regular portfolio, compliance and routine reports to the Write Off and Repossession Coordinator
- Restructure loan repayment plans for delinquent clients as per policy and procedure
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
- Diploma or higher academic qualification
- Experience in credit collections, loan recovery or receivables management is an advantage
- Strong negotiation and customer engagement skills
- Good record keeping and reporting discipline
