How to Apply
Responsibilities:
Providing of legal advice, legal briefs and opinion to senior management.
Supporting in Liaising with external lawyers to facilitate collection and preparation of information related to court matters.
Ensures that the company`s commercial, contractual and other legal interests are adequately protected.
Collaborate with other departments, such as Human Resource, Finance, Sales and Supply Chain, , to assure legal adherence for all transactions.
Coordinate with HR and Senior Management Team in order to enforce the company’s procedures and policies legally.
Preparing & editing legal correspondence & documents.
Representing in courts of law as well as supporting it to meet legal obligations.
Drafting, reviewing and supporting legal and compliance policies that are in line with mission and vision.
Undertake responsibilities of the secretary to internal meetings as required.
Undertake and coordinate enforcement actions in conjunction with relevant law enforcement organs of the government.
Identify risks and propose alternative options to reduce the risks involved in prospective company transactions.
Undertake administrative duties and other duties as may be assigned.
Educational Requirements:
Honor’s Degree in Law with a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice.
Should be enrolled as an advocate.
A minimum of Two years of relevant professional experience working from a legal related institution in a busy environment.
Specific Skills:
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Fluent in both spoken and written English
Proven integrity and confidentiality in handling public resources and in executing duties.
A high level of interpersonal, management skills and ability to work with teams.
Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
