• Provide specialised legal services under the Justice for Peace project and support other related legal activities.
• Conduct legal consultations and provide legal guidance to underserved communities.
• Facilitate physical and virtual mediation sessions at BarefootLaw Box offices.
• Prepare legal documents, opinions, content and other written materials.
• Support community outreach, legal awareness and digital legal information channels.
• Engage institutions and stakeholders on access to justice issues.
• Maintain client records confidentially and in line with data protection requirements.
• Support rehabilitation and reintegration referrals where required.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from a recognised university.
• Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre.
• At least 1 to 3 years of professional legal experience.
• Proficiency in the local language of the area of responsibility: Acholi for Gulu and Kitgum, Lusoga for Namutumba, Lugisu and Lumasaba for Mbale.
• Demonstrated interest in technology and digital innovation for access to justice.
