Lafab Solutions is recruiting a female Laundry Assistant for a client in Kansanga, Kampala, to wash, dry, iron and fold clothing and linens, treat stains and keep up quality checks on all items handled.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Sort, wash and dry clothing, linens and other textiles using machines or by hand where needed.
Iron clothes neatly and fold them according to the standard guidelines.
Identify and treat stains before washing.
Inspect items for damage or missing parts before and after laundering.
Keep the laundry area clean and the machines in good working order.
Return items to the right owners and report any losses or damage.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Qualifications & Experience:

Able to read and follow laundering instructions and care labels.
Living near Kansanga, Kampala, is an added advantage.
Available to start immediately.

Skills & Competencies:

Careful handling of different fabrics.
Reliability and punctuality.
Attention to detail and cleanliness.
Good time management.
