Junior ITSM Technician Intern

The Junior ITSM Technician Intern provides first-level IT support, troubleshoots user issues, manages service requests and documents interactions in the service desk system.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Provide first-level support for basic user inquiries under supervision
Follow detailed procedures for troubleshooting hardware, software and user errors
Escalate complex issues to higher-level technicians and update users
Log essential details in the ticketing system to improve documentation
Adhere to service desk policies, processes and guidelines

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Recent graduate or final-year student in IT, computer science or a related field
Basic understanding of hardware, software and service desk operations
Good communication and customer service skills
Attention to detail in documenting tickets
Eagerness to learn in a high-performing environment
