Position: IT Officer
Location: Kampala,Uganda
Job Summary: To provide technical support and guidance in the maintenance of IT support services to users in the Authority.
Salary: UFZEPA - 5
Terms: Three (3) Year Contract (Renewable upon good performance)
Administer web, networks, systems and databases
Manage and maintain LAN/WAN to standards
Provide routine user support on LAN/WAN and other IT issues
Plan and deliver staff IT trainings
Requisition and deploy appropriate technologies
Monitor data/voice communication facilities
Propose and implement network improvements
Develop and maintain the organization website
Provide general user support
Person Specifications
a) Academic Qualifications
Honors Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology & Computing, Computer Information Systems & Administration, Business Information Systems, System Administration, or Software Engineering/System Design & Analysis
b) Work Experience
Working experience: Nil
