Inuka Partners is hiring an Investment Associate in Nairobi to build financial models, run valuations and support due diligence and transaction execution across infrastructure and renewable energy projects. The role requires up to four years of experience in investment banking, private equity, infrastructure or renewable energy.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Build and maintain financial models to evaluate investment opportunities and project returns.
Conduct financial analysis, valuations and investment assessments.
Support due diligence and transaction execution across infrastructure and renewable energy projects.
Prepare investment memoranda, presentations and internal reports.
Conduct market research and assess potential investment opportunities.
Work with internal teams, external advisers and project stakeholders throughout the investment process.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related field.
Up to 4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, infrastructure or renewable energy.
Strong financial modelling and valuation skills.
Experience analysing infrastructure or renewable energy investments is preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong analytical, commercial and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Attention to detail in transaction documentation.
Ability to work with external advisers and stakeholders.
