International Technical Assistance Consultant

• Lead the development of a standardised, replicable and political economy-sensitive OCA approach for population institutions in sub-Saharan Africa
• Develop adaptable OCA methodology and assessment tools
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to national consultants in Nigeria and the DRC
• Review assessment approaches, tools and implementation plans
• Provide quality assurance of assessments, findings and related products
• Support the development and review of institutional strengthening recommendations and roadmaps

Qualifications & Experience:

• At least 10 years' experience in organisational development and institutional capacity strengthening in sub-Saharan Africa, including experience applying political economy thinking
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing OCAs within health, population, governance or related development sectors
• Individual consultant assignments only - applications from consulting firms, consortiums or other organizations will not be considered

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong expertise in capacity assessment methodologies and change management
• Experience mentoring local consultants and facilitating organisational learning
• Ability to provide remote technical leadership across multiple countries
