• Carry out periodic risk assessments for the Ministry and identify high risk areas to guide audit work.
• Prepare annual risk-based audit plans for the Ministry.
• Review financial statements and provide appropriate recommendations.
• Review implementation status of previous internal and external audit recommendations.
• Advise functional units on effective public finance management.
• Assess whether internal controls are adequate to identify risks.
• Provide assurance on the adequacy and effectiveness of risk management, governance and internal control.
• Prepare and submit audit reports.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Audit or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA or CIA is an advantage.
• At least 3 years of internal or external audit experience, preferably in the public sector.
