Job Description
The intern will work within the Human Resource Planning and Transformation directorate, supporting various HR functions, workforce planning strategies, and change management initiatives. Responsibilities will include assisting with HR transformation projects, data analysis, employee relations support, and the implementation of organizational development programmes. The role offers mentorship, practical experience, and opportunities to engage with senior HR professionals, ensuring interns gain the competencies required for future employment within the public sector or private industry.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Support human resource planning and organizational transformation initiatives.
Assist in workforce planning, HR data analysis, and reporting.
Participate in HR-related projects and provide administrative support.
Contribute to employee engagement and organizational development activities.
Perform duties as allocated according to the field of specialization.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
NQF Level 6/7/8 in Human Resource Management, Public Administration, Industrial Psychology, Psychology, or Social/Human Sciences.
Must be a South African citizen and resident of Gauteng Province.
Aged between 18 – 35 years.
Unemployed graduates who have NOT previously participated in a government internship programme.
Students who have completed academic theory and require experiential training for qualification may also apply.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities.
Commitment to learning and professional growth.
