The Instrument Assistant maintains and calibrates industrial instrumentation at the Kingfisher field, working on measuring instruments and process control systems under oil and gas HSE procedures.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Carry out instrumentation maintenance, calibration and testing.
Identify and handle pressure, temperature, flow and level measuring instruments.
Read basic P&IDs, instrument drawings and wiring diagrams.
Use industrial tools and testing equipment including multimeters and calibration devices.
Follow oil and gas HSE procedures including permit to work and lock out tag out.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma or bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of working experience in instrumentation maintenance or related activities within the oil and gas industry.

Skills & Competencies:

Basic knowledge of industrial instrumentation and process control systems.
Understanding of instrument calibration, testing and maintenance procedures.
Knowledge of HSE procedures including PTW and LOTO.
Good communication, teamwork and problem solving skills.
