• Support the planning and execution of risk-based ICT audits under the annual internal audit plan.
• Assess adherence to ICT governance, risk and security frameworks including COBIT and ISO 27001.
• Review ICT infrastructure, systems, applications, databases, networks and technology processes for control adequacy.
• Assess ICT risks and controls covering cybersecurity, access management, data protection, system availability and business continuity.
• Prepare complete, accurate audit working papers documenting procedures, evidence and conclusions.
• Support preparation of ICT audit reports with well-supported findings and practical recommendations.
• Follow up agreed audit recommendations and validate implementation of corrective actions.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of audit information and evidence.
• Keep abreast of emerging ICT risks, cyber threats and regulatory developments and apply them in audits.
• Provide input into ICT risk assessments and audit programme development.
• Collaborate with other internal audit team members on integrated and ICT-related assignments.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity or a related field.
• Professional certification or progress towards CISA, CC, CISM or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in ICT auditing, IT, cybersecurity, IT risk management or information systems controls.
• Practical knowledge of ICT controls, cybersecurity principles, IT governance and information systems risk management.
• Experience with data analytics or computer-assisted audit techniques is an added advantage.
