Housekeeping Supervisor

The Housekeeping Supervisor leads the housekeeping team at DSTRKT24 Kampala, ensuring all guest and public areas are clean, well presented and ready at all times.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Supervise housekeeping staff, prepare duty rosters and allocate cleaning assignments
Inspect guest rooms, washrooms, restaurant and public areas to confirm cleanliness standards
Manage linen, cleaning supplies and equipment, including stock counts and requisitions
Report maintenance faults and follow up on repairs
Train housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, hygiene and safety
Handle guest requests and complaints relating to cleanliness promptly
Keep housekeeping records, checklists and shift handover notes

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Experience in housekeeping or cleaning operations, with supervisory responsibility preferred
Knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals and hygiene standards
Good team leadership and organisation skills
Attention to detail and pride in presentation standards
Flexibility to work shifts, nights, weekends and public holidays
Good communication skills
