Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Supervise students and ensure adherence to daily routines including meals, hygiene, study and bedtime.
- Monitor students' physical and emotional wellbeing and respond promptly to emergencies.
- Report illnesses, accidents and safeguarding concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, student movements, incidents and health contacts.
- Provide guidance, care and pastoral support to students in the hostel.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience working with children or young people in a school or boarding setting.
- Relevant qualification in education, counselling or social work is an advantage.
- Strong safeguarding awareness.
Skills & Competencies:
- Student supervision and pastoral care.
- Record keeping.
- Communication with parents and staff.
