• Develop, implement and continuously enhance the IT strategy in line with business objectives and FINCA global technology standards.
• Provide leadership for all technology functions with effective governance, accountability and performance management.
• Establish and maintain IT policies, frameworks, standards and procedures in line with regulatory requirements.
• Ensure delivery of high quality IT services to agreed service levels and oversee availability of core banking and business critical applications.
• Oversee the design, implementation, maintenance and optimisation of networks, servers, storage, cloud services and communications.
• Identify, assess and mitigate technology and cybersecurity risks together with the Information Security Manager.
• Lead IT disaster recovery and business continuity planning, testing and improvement.
• Provide oversight of technology projects and ensure delivery within scope, budget, quality and timeline.
• Manage vendor and partner relationships, the IT budget and the technology investment portfolio.
• Lead, develop and mentor the IT team and ensure successful completion of IT related audits.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor of Science degree in computer science, information technology or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in information technology leadership, with a minimum of 5 years in supervisor, manager or senior management roles.
• Experience managing enterprise infrastructure, cybersecurity, business applications, vendors and IT projects.
• Experience in a regulated financial institution, fintech or telecommunications is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated experience in IT governance, risk management, business continuity, disaster recovery and audit management.
