Head of Airside OperationsNew!

• Direct airside operations, ramp handling services and flight dispatch safety protocols at the Kigali hub.
• Ensure compliance with ICAO, IATA and Rwanda Civil Aviation Authority airside safety standards.
• Supervise ground support equipment allocation, pushback, baggage loading and fuelling timelines.
• Manage airside staff rosters, safety training and ramp emergency response plans.
• Monitor aircraft ground turn-around times against on-time departure targets.
• Work with airport authorities and air traffic control to resolve operational bottlenecks.
• Investigate airside incidents, ramp damage and hazard reports and implement corrective measures.
• Oversee departmental budgets and ground handling equipment procurement plans.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Transport and Logistics, Engineering or a related field.
• At least 6 to 10 years of progressive experience in airport ramp and airside handling leadership.
• In-depth knowledge of IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations (ISAGO) regulations and flight operations.
