Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with our EYE-C She Works project team remotely to support the establishment and initial setup of She Works project.
- Assist with mobilization, awareness creation, stakeholder engagement, profiling, data collection and ecosystem strengthening.
- Contribute to data-driven decision-making to support project scalability.
- Undergo work-based training alongside senior professionals at various sites, including our Kampala head office and key project districts.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Person Specifications / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in agriculture, social studies, Economics, Gender Studies, Development Studies, or related field.
- A graduate from university with no/limited experience
- Proficiency in digital tools (e.g., Excel, kobo collect and mobile data collection apps).
- Basic understanding of coffee value chains, climate-smart agriculture, or circular economy models.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for community engagement and stakeholder coordination.
- Analytical: Ability to collect, analyse, and report data on project metrics.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in dynamic rural settings with flexible schedules.
- Gender Sensitivity: Commitment to advancing women's economic empowerment and inclusion.
- Teamwork: Collaborative approach in multi-partner environments (ISSD, EYE-C & Cluster partners, cooperatives, NGOs, private sector).
