How to Apply
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Assist in the mechanical engineering design process by contributing to the preparation of mechanical engineering designs and drawings.
Participate in the analysis of rotating, static, and fired equipment to ensure compliance with international standards and project requirements.
Help develop design documents, including Basis of Design (BoD), mechanical data sheets, and specifications.
Monitor equipment installation, testing, and commissioning activities to ensure compliance with designs and specifications.
Provide technical input during the Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) and Detailed Engineering Design (DED) stages of projects.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor(s).
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from a recognized university.
A maximum of 3 years of relevant work experience, with no more than three years since graduation.
Membership in a professional engineering body (e.g., UIPE – Graduate Membership) is an added advantage.
Experience in oil and gas, energy, or industrial projects is a plus.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
Proficiency in engineering design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar software).
Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, including rotating, static, and fired equipment.
Familiarity with international codes and standards such as ASME, API, and ISO.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to interpret engineering designs.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Willingness to travel for work-related assignments.
