Freelance Debt Collector (Several Positions)New!

• Recover outstanding debts on behalf of the company using all reasonable means and within the law.
• Hand over all cash and monetary instruments collected to the company within 48 hours of collection.
• Ensure all debtors cheques are drawn in favour of the company and handed over within 48 hours of recovery.
• Keep the company informed regularly on progress in recovering each debt.
• Report within two days any and all sums recovered.
• Prepare and deliver monthly progress reports to the company.
• Disclose all information incidental to the execution of the contract.
• Work with the company legal office to ensure adequate representation in court where action is necessary.
• Do not enter into agreements, compositions or schemes on costs without prior consent of the company.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven experience as a debt collector.
• Accounting background with a degree in Business Administration, Bachelor of Commerce, Economics or Statistics.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and accounting software.
• Experience working with targets and tight deadlines.
