Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Review country-level trial balances and supporting schedules to assess the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of accounting classifications, identify and resolve discrepancies, and report gaps.
Prepare draft financial statements, including notes and supporting disclosures, in accordance with the applicable reporting framework.
Support country audit readiness activities, including preparing audit schedules and required supporting documents based on auditors' requests.
Coordinate responses to audit requests, ensuring information provided is complete, accurate and timely.
Track audit progress, outstanding requests, findings and agreed actions through to closure.
Monitor and report financial reporting and audit KPIs, identifying opportunities to improve timeliness, quality and efficiency of the audits
Review assigned monthly, quarterly and year-end close reconciliations and analysis as allocated
Support accounting projects aimed at process improvements.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance
3years experience in Accounting /Financial Reporting
CPA/ACCA advanced level/active

Skills & Competencies:

Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:
Experience with the use of ERP Accounting software
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (ability to perform complex formulas).
