One Acre Fund Rwanda is hiring a Financial Advisory Associate in Kigali to own internal and external financial reporting and compliance for the Rwanda programme, including financial closes, grant reporting and finance business partnering.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes and resolve outstanding issues.
Oversee financial reports, budget-versus-actual analysis and management reporting in line with IFRS.
Own tax compliance for assigned business units, addressing VAT, invoicing and related-party risks.
Coordinate with accounting, legal and government relations teams to resolve compliance gaps.
Support annual financial statements, audit findings and financial controls.
Oversee financial tracking, reporting and compliance for major grants including Mastercard Foundation.
Provide finance business partnering and strategic financial planning support.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; professional qualification such as CPA or ACCA preferred.
3 to 5 years of experience in financial reporting, audit or grant finance.
Working knowledge of IFRS and tax compliance.

Skills & Competencies:

Financial close and IFRS reporting.
Grant financial management.
Excel modelling and variance analysis.
Cross-functional coordination.
