Field Sales Team Leader

Numida is hiring a Field Sales Team Leader in Western Uganda to oversee its Sales agents, providing guidance and support to ensure successful conversion of potential clients and achievement of sales targets.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of Sales agents, providing training, coaching, and ongoing support
Collaborate with the Sales Manager to develop and implement strategic initiatives to promote Numida's offerings
Set clear sales targets and performance metrics for the team, monitoring progress and providing feedback
Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics to optimize customer acquisition and conversion
Develop a systematic plan for visiting clients and continuously evaluate route planning strategies
Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture
Conduct market research and analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities
Provide regular reports and updates to the Sales Manager on team performance

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Qualifications & Experience:

4 years of previous experience in a sales or customer-facing role with demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets
Verbal and written fluency in English and Runyakitara is an added advantage; candidates must be located or willing to relocate to Mbarara, Western Uganda

Skills & Competencies:

High level of self-motivation and initiative to drive team sales activities
Strong organizational and planning skills
Ability to identify challenges, analyze root causes, and develop creative solutions
Proficient in computer and mobile technology (Android apps, Google Drive, Sheets, Docs)
Excellent interpersonal skills and high levels of empathy
