Microhaem Scientifics and Medical Supplies
Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive EHS program that aligns with regulatory requirements and best practices.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and manage environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures
Conduct risk assessments and inspections to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation plans
Monitor compliance with applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations
Provide training and education to employees on EHS principles and best practices
Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and near-misses
Maintain records and documentation related to EHS matters
Conduct audits and evaluations of EHS performance
Represent the company in matters related to EHS
Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in EHS
Collaborate with other departments to ensure that EHS considerations are integrated into all operations

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Safety Management, or a related field
Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification preferred
Minimum of 3 years of experience in EHS management
Strong understanding of environmental, health, and safety regulations
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
