Twyford Tile is hiring an Electrical Technician to maintain industrial automation machinery, perform electrical fault diagnostics, and ensure plant safety, across tile manufacturing operations in Kajiado. The position is based in Kajiado.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Installing, testing, and maintaining industrial electrical equipment and power systems.
Troubleshooting PLC systems, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and automated machinery.
Executing scheduled preventative electrical maintenance to minimize production downtime.
Responding promptly to machine electrical breakdowns on the manufacturing floor.
Ensuring strict compliance with industrial occupational health and safety electrical standards.
Reading and interpreting electrical wiring schematics and control circuit diagrams.
Maintaining inventory of electrical spare parts, switches, fuses, and sensors.
Documenting maintenance logs, fault diagnostic reports, and equipment modification history.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma or Higher National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Electronics.
Electrical license issued by the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA).
Minimum of three (3) years of experience as an Electrical Technician in a manufacturing plant.
Hands-on experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and industrial automation.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting capability in industrial electrical systems.
Proficiency in reading complex electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
In-depth knowledge of industrial safety protocols, lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures.
Ability to operate electrical testing tools, multimeters, and megohmmeters.
Good team player willing to work in shift rotations in a heavy manufacturing plant.
