We are seeking a skilled and talented Electrical Technician to provide routine maintenance services for plant electrical equipment and installations. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in routine and project operations, supporting strategic decision-making in collaboration with the Engineering Team at Qcil.

How to Apply
As an Electrical Technician, your primary duties will include:
Preventive Maintenance and Repairs:
Assist the Electrical Engineer in devising preventive measures to avoid equipment downtime.
Carry out planned preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs of production and utility machinery.
Conduct housekeeping of operational areas to maintain safety and orderliness.
Equipment Testing and Operation:
Check instruments and switchboards to ensure systems are functioning efficiently and detect line disturbances.
Monitor the operation of diesel generators, transformers, UPS (uninterruptible power supply), panels, and other electrical equipment.
Monitor power switches to ensure personnel safety and avoid interruptions during production and repairs.
Documentation and Reporting:
Compile records and reports on equipment performance, instrument readings, calibrations, and switching operations.
Maintain up-to-date validation and operational documentation, including SOPs.
Training and Safety:
Conduct periodic training sessions on electrical safety within the premises.
Ensure the maintenance of safety systems, including door interlocks, fire alarms, and the public address system.
Inventory and Supplies:
Maintain the required inventory level for electrical spares and consumables.
Coordinate with the purchase and supply departments to ensure timely procurement of materials.
Collaboration:
Work closely with other Electrical Technicians/Engineers to resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
To qualify for this position, you must have:
Education: Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Experience: 2–3 years of experience in engineering processes, operations, or a similar role.
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
