The Electrical Assistant supports electrical installation, maintenance and repair at the Kingfisher field, reading drawings, terminating cables and testing equipment in line with electrical safety procedures.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Carry out electrical installation, maintenance and repair work.
Install and gland cables and complete terminations.
Read and interpret basic electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
Test equipment using multimeters and insulation resistance testers.
Observe electrical safety, grounding and isolation procedures.
Work within an oil and gas operational environment.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma or bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Installation or a related technical field.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in electrical installation, maintenance or repair.

Skills & Competencies:

Practical knowledge of electrical systems, components, tools and equipment.
Experience in cable installation, glanding and termination.
Knowledge of electrical testing instruments.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
