Job Description
Job Title: EHS Officer
Organisation: Uganda Batteries
Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
Purpose of the Role
The EHS Officer will support the implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of the EHS management system within UBL’s manufacturing site. This role ensures that all operations comply with occupational health & safety legislation, environmental regulations (including hazardous materials such as lead acid battery manufacturing), and that safe work practices are embedded across the organisation. The EHS Officer also assists the EHS Manager in promoting a culture of safety, environmental responsibility and regulatory compliance.
