Drone Pilot (UAV Operator)New!

• Assist in flight planning, site surveys, risk assessments and preparation of flight documentation.
• Conduct safe drone take-offs, landings and flight operations in line with approved procedures.
• Operate onboard cameras and sensors for aerial photography, videography, surveillance and inspection.
• Support routine drone maintenance, firmware updates and battery management.
• Download, organise and maintain captured imagery, video and other flight data.
• Prepare flight logs, mission reports and presentations.
• Ensure compliance with KCAA regulations, company policies and health and safety requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Remote Pilot License (RPL) with a minimum of five flight hours over the last six months.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Media and Communications, Geospatial Sciences, Environmental Sciences or a related field.
• At least one year of relevant experience in a technical, field-based, media production or data-oriented role.
• Demonstrated interest in technology and ability to learn new technical systems and applications.
• Good analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to work in a team.
• Ability and willingness to work outdoors in varying environmental conditions.
