Job Description
The business duties of a Driver may include safely transporting employees and customers to and from specified locations as needed, ensuring that vehicles are properly maintained, checking for vehicle issues and reporting them promptly, handling deliveries and pickups, keeping mileage records, managing fuel usage, maintaining vehicle cleanliness and performing basic administrative tasks related to transport. Drivers will represent DURA MOTORS LIMITED as the first point of contact for many clients and therefore are expected to maintain a calm, courteous, and professional demeanor at all times. Personal qualities expected include attentiveness, well-groomed appearance, initiative, loyalty, maturity, respect for confidentiality, discretion, a positive attitude, reliability, quick thinking, attention to detail, and dependability.

How to Apply
Transport staff, customers, and goods securely to areas where they are needed.
Ensure that vehicles are always clean, fueled, and mechanically sound.
Carry out routine vehicle checks and maintain updated records of vehicle maintenance.
Comply with all road safety and traffic regulations.
Assist passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle when necessary.
Deliver and pick up documents, packages, and other items as instructed.
Maintain logs of working hours, vehicle service, and repair records.
Ensure proper use of the company vehicle, reporting any incidents immediately.
Perform minor vehicle repairs and coordinate for major repairs as needed.
Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor.
Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Minimum qualification: Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) or equivalent.
Valid Driver’s License (Classes B, CM, DL, DM preferred).
