Job Description
Zombo District Service Commission invites applications from suitably qualified Ugandans to fill the vacant position of Driver within the Zombo District Local Government. The post offers an opportunity to work in the public sector, contributing to the efficient operations of the district's administration.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Drive district vehicles as assigned by supervisors.
Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of the vehicle.
Adhere to road safety regulations and district transportation policies.
Report any mechanical issues or accidents promptly.
Perform other duties as assigned by the relevant authorities.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education: No formal education requirements.
Experience: No prior work experience is required.
Ability to operate and maintain motor vehicles.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Interested and qualified candidates are encouraged to submit their applications in triplicate using Public Service Form No. 3 (Revised 2008), which can be downloaded from the Public Service Commission's website. Applications should include:

Applicants currently employed by the government should route their applications through their Responsible Officer to avoid delays. Serving officers may also submit an advance copy of the application directly to the Secretary, District Service Commission, to facilitate shortlisting.
