Description (Public)
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Drive World Vision vehicles to specified destinations as approved by supervisor
- Deliver packages, goods and mails to specified people and offices
- Check vehicle condition prior to any journey and carry out regular repairs
- Maintain vehicle hygiene and report damages to supervisor
- Record and maintain a travel log of areas travelled and work hours
- Prepare and submit vehicle monthly reports
- Observe traffic rules and maximum speed limits
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of O level Certificate
- Valid driving permit with Classes B, D1 and any in Class C category
- Three years of driving experience
- Certificate in Defensive Driving from a recognized driving school
- Computer literate
Skills & Competencies:
- Basic mechanical knowledge
- First Aid skills
- Knowledge of national road safety rules and regulations
- Effective written and verbal communication in English
- NGO background and emergency response experience is vital
