Location: Kampala, Uganda
Role Overview
We are seeking a full-time, on-site Drilling Machine Operator based in Kampala. The successful candidate will operate drilling machinery primarily for water borehole projects, ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality drilling operations. Responsibilities include machine setup, routine maintenance, performance monitoring, and effective communication with the project team to meet deadlines and quality standards.

How to Apply
Operate and manage drilling rigs and related equipment for borehole drilling projects.
Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on drilling machines to ensure optimal performance.
Adhere strictly to safety protocols and procedures on-site.
Work closely with the project team to meet drilling specifications and timelines.
Conduct site assessments to evaluate drilling feasibility.
Maintain accurate records of drilling operations and materials used.
Minimum certificate in borehole drilling or related technical qualification.
At least 2 years of proven experience as a driller or drilling machine operator, preferably in water/borehole drilling.
Strong technical and mechanical understanding of drilling equipment.
Ability to troubleshoot and carry out basic equipment repairs.
Physically fit and capable of working under demanding outdoor conditions.
Committed to maintaining safety and quality standards.
Excellent team player with strong communication skills.
