Job Description
Job Title: Depot Manager
Reports To: Regional Operations Supervisor
Locations: Mukono, Kampala, Wakiso, Soroti, Lira, Arua, Gulu, Moroto, Mbale, Hoima, Fort Portal, Mbarara, and Luwero
Job Summary:
The Depot Manager will oversee daily depot operations, ensure proper stock and inventory management, supervise depot staff, and drive sales performance within the assigned region. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills with experience in sales and operational management.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage daily depot operations efficiently and effectively.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure proper inventory control systems are maintained.
- Prepare and submit regular stock and sales reports.
- Supervise depot staff and ensure productivity targets are achieved.
- Coordinate product distribution and delivery schedules.
- Ensure compliance with company operational procedures and safety standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, dealers, and field teams.
- Identify business growth opportunities within the assigned region.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve operational challenges promptly.
- Ensure proper record keeping and accountability of company assets.
