Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Collect and deliver customer orders within Kampala on time.
- Plan efficient routes using knowledge of Kampala roads and traffic.
- Handle products and packages carefully so they reach customers in good condition.
- Confirm deliveries with customers and collect payment or proof of delivery where required.
- Maintain the assigned motorcycle or delivery bike and report any faults.
- Observe road safety rules and ride responsibly at all times.
- Provide friendly, courteous service and escalate customer complaints to the supervisor.
- Keep records of deliveries completed each day.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid riding licence and a clean riding record.
- Familiar with Kampala routes and neighbourhoods.
- At least 1 year of experience as a delivery rider is an advantage.
- Reliable and punctual with strong customer service skills.
Skills & Competencies:
- Safe riding and road awareness.
- Time management.
- Good communication with customers.
- Honesty and reliability.
