Job Description
Design, develop, and administer ETL/data integration pipelines and analytics processes; produce insightful reports/dashboards tracking performance across channels; engineer highly scalable, distributed big-data solutions using open-source technologies; design front-end/middle-tier/back-end components for analytics applications; perform data modeling and build efficient data structures; ensure reporting/analytics requirements are technically feasible and well implemented; research and recommend design/performance improvements; automate and enhance BI processes (including AI-driven automation); contribute ideas that improve efficiency or generate business value; document solutions rigorously across the DevOps lifecycle; participate in technical forums and uphold company code of conduct, health, safety, and wellbeing standards.

How to Apply

Perform data modeling; design and build application data structures.
Implement reporting functionality and ensure effective deployment.
Research and recommend architecture/design/performance improvements.
Generate ideas to improve analytics efficiency and/or create business value.
Automate and enhance BI processes, leveraging AI where appropriate.
Contribute to team knowledge sharing and technical forums.

Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
Oracle certification (DB administration or application development).
AWS certification (AWS Cloud Practitioner / AWS Data Engineer) or CompTIA Data+.
MSc/MBA is an added advantage.
Technical Skills
Advanced UNIX/Linux scripting, Python, and SQL.
Advanced ETL with Informatica Cloud / IICS / IDMC, Apache NiFi, and Kafka.
Databases: MySQL, MS SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Apache Hive; NoSQL: MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis.
Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing.
Cloud technologies, Kubernetes, VMware.
Understanding of Core IT (BSS/OSS) and Core Network (GSM, Transport).
Business Analysis & Soft Skills
Elicit and document user requirements; translate into robust data engineering solutions.
Strong documentation discipline across the DevOps cycle.
